Remarkably Bright Creatures is one of those rare books that quietly sneaks into your heart and stays there long after you’ve finished the final page. This is a book for anyone who has ever felt alone, anyone who believes in second chances, and anyone who finds magic in small, everyday kindnesses. Remarkably Bright Creatures is a true treasure: tender, wise, and unforgettable.

Beautiful work of the butterfly effect and how separate stories can cross and create something magnificent. Some parts brought tears to my eyes, others made me grin like an idiot. Loved!!

This book is creative and delightful. It was so interesting to read from the perspective of an octopus (some of the book). The other characters were so human and fun to read about. The story tied up all the pieces nicely at the end!

Loved this book. It was such an odd experience hearing about my hometown being described in a current book I’m reading. I had no idea that Modesto would be featured in it when I chose to read it. I just loved all the characters in this book. It was so cleverly written with part of being told from Marcellus’s point of view. I will never look at an octopus the same way again.

wanted to DNF, but it was my bookclub pick. I cannot understand the reviews this book is getting. The book is full of weak characters, frought with AGEISM, misogny and stupidity. Far too predictable, this story was painful to read. I had to double check that the author wasn't 12 years old because of the pathetic descriptions used for anyone older than 20. ..I am disgusted. The only enjoyable and relatable character was the Octopus, of which we didn't get enough time with.
